The rules exist because a dumped yard of gravel cannot be picked back up. Here's each one with the reason next to it.
Changes and cancellations
Change a delivery up to 2 hours before your window, and cancel free up to 24 hours ahead. After that the truck and the driver are already committed to your job.
Where we can unload
Driveways as standard, because that's the surface we can assess from the cab. Anywhere else — a side yard, a lawn, through a gate — needs a signed release and an adult present, since we can't see what's under the grass.
Timing
We give a window, not a time, because loading and traffic vary. We'll text you the night before and when we leave. If we miss the window entirely, the delivery fee comes back to you.
If we get it wrong
Wrong material loaded or a short load gets fixed at no charge to you. That's our error, not yours.
Holding paid material
We'll hold paid material in the yard for up to 30 days at no charge. After that the bin is needed and the material is resold — call us before day 30 and we'll work something out.
