Bulk material is unusual to sell, so the rules are unusual too. Here's each one with its reason — and what we do on the other side of the scale.
What we'll always do
- Free sample bags of any gravel or pebble — take them home before you commit
- Help you work out the quantity at the counter, on the phone or by text
- Fix our own errors at no charge — wrong material loaded, or a short load
- Refund the delivery fee if we miss the window entirely
- Hold paid material in the yard for 30 days at no charge
Returns
Packaged goods come back within 30 days with a receipt, with a 25% restocking fee. Loose material, stone, pavers, flagstone, pebbles, turf and supplier-ordered products are final sale — once material has been dumped or a pallet broken, we can't return it to inventory. Credit notes are available to account holders. Pallets come back for their deposit; damaged pallets are $10 each.
Payment & large orders
Cash, debit and all major cards at the counter. Account holders charge to the account. For large remote orders we send a secure pay link — the card is verified by your bank, and we never handle the number. That replaces the old signed authorisation form and photo-ID requirement for phone orders over $1,500.
Quantity estimates
Our calculator and our staff give you good estimates, but ground is never flat and material settles. We suggest a 10% overage for that reason. We can't be responsible for a quantity that turns out short or long — which is exactly why we'd rather spend the ten minutes getting it right before you order.
Delivery
Full terms, zones, fees and the prep checklist are on the delivery page. Short version: minimum 1 yard or 1 ton, driveway drops as standard, anywhere else needs a signed release and an adult on site, changes up to 2 hours before the window, free cancellation 24 hours ahead.
