Cubic yard, ton or bag?
Gravel, soil, mulch and sand are sold by the cubic yard (volume). Pebbles and flagstone go by the ton (weight). Turf is by the square foot. Every card says which.
Watch the bag size
Most soils bag at 2 cu ft; Terra Mix, Sod Blend and Pumice at 3/4 cu ft. Bag volume is printed on every card so you compare like with like.
